Since most everything we do is custom, each item is produced as it is ordered.

Are there any special requirements for the photo that I would like to use?

The single most important aspect of getting a great product is starting with a great picture. Some corrections can be made, for instance, taking something out of the background. However, it's important to remember that some things just cannot be made acceptable. An example of this would be a blurry out of focus picture. Try to choose a photo that is clean to begin with.

Keep in mind the height to width ratio of your photo. Some photos may not be suitable for a product with a square imprint area. We can crop to fit in most instances. Sometimes it is necessary to add a block of color and add a name or saying to the photo to make it the right proportions. An example of this can be seen on the paperweight sample.

If you are digitally submitting your photograph, we prefer 300 dpi resolution in the following formats: .TIF, .PSD, .JPG, .EPS, .AI, .CDR.

If we need to perform CPR on your photograph, you will be sent a copy of it to approve before it is used.

We cannot under any circumstances reproduce a copyrighted photograph without a signed release from the photographer. Most times, we find, photographers are happy to allow a treasured keepsake to be made from their photo. You can print off a copy of the release form here.

Sure you can! Just because we specialize in equines, doesn't mean you can't have the keepsake your heart desires, no matter the subject.
